  • Employer Mandate (ALE Rules): Employers with 50+ full-time equivalent employees must offer affordable, minimum-value health coverage or may face penalties.
  • Affordability Standards: Employee premium contributions for self-only coverage must meet IRS affordability thresholds (indexed annually).
  • Reporting Obligations: Applicable Large Employers must file Forms 1094-C and 1095-C annually with the IRS and furnish statements to employees.
